“Music is a language that doesn’t speak in particular words. It speaks in emotions, and if it’s in the bones, it’s in the bones.” ― Keith Richards
As we developed a knowledge of our inner worlds of mind, consciousness, perceptions, feeling, instincts, and expressions the thought occurred: “What would the inner brain/mind appear like when experiencing various emotional states?” How would a microscopic view of the neurons firing and the wash of chemical reactions appear? What creativity and inspiration is required to develop images digitally that often gave rise to these same emotions and bring about compositions from these, depicting our perceptual world of emotions and feelings? After several years of contemplation and efforts,we have developed our constructs of these in this portfolio. Each art work is an actual photograph we were capturing at the time we experienced the emotion and has been enhanced digitally through diverse methods to visualize from that experience how the “physical mind” may have appeared as it manifested itself. We will continue to add additional art works as they avail themselves to us. Enjoy! Click here to check out the portfolio.
Inspired – aroused, animated, or imbued with the spirit to do something, by or as if by supernatural or divine influence. Working to capture a macro image of a special flower, I had a wonderful background that I used to compose against. I found that moving the lens just slightly gave ever changing yet exceptional renditions of this scene. I felt inspired to find the perfect frame.
