Vernal Equinox

The Vernal Equinox

The Earth and Sun perform their yearly dance. The Sun crosses the Vernal Equinox that typically indicates Spring is near. This morning it seemed quite hard to tell as an overnight snowfall graces the early yellow daffodils. The frozen crystals provide a counterpoise to the golden yellow of the flower. Slowly the day warmed slightly and the daffodil emerged triumphant, at least for this day.

Our new edition to our Creative Portfolio of Emotions.

Primitive ancestors developed basic emotions that emanate from our brain stem. Self preservation, fear, reflexes and aggression type emotions slowly evolved there. Over considerable evolutionary periods modern man developed a sophisticated emotional range that emanate from higher neocortex locations and through the interactions of electrical and chemical processes in the brain.

DustyBlues, inspired by this, began developing digital artwork based on our actual photographs that we feel depict what our inner consciousness appears like when experiencing individual emotions and how we felt when we captured the photograph. This artwork is entitled "Inspired".
